Super Eagles defender,  Semi Ajayi  put in a solid performance  as he played the full 90 minutes at centre-back as newly promoted Hull City held Chelsea to a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Semi Ajayi played very well and showed his quality in the game with a composed and commanding display at the back.

Ajayi was a constant presence at the heart of the Hull defence throughout, helping to frustrate a Chelsea side that dropped points for the second game running following last weekend’s loss to Arsenal.

The Nigerian defender was strong in tackles, won important duels, and helped his side stay competitive against a tough Chelsea attack.

Xabi Alonso’s side took an early lead in the 7 minutes through Morgan Rogers, assisted by Joao Pedro.

Hull hit back through Mohamed Belloumi, who levelled things up in the 28th minute, assisted by Ryan Giles.

After six minutes, Mohamed  Belloumi doubled the lead, assisted by Oli McBurnie before the end of the first half.

Chelsea rallied after the restart and restored parity through Joao Pedro in the 66th minute, but neither side could find a winner as the points were shared.

Semi Ajayi  continues with an impressive  performance since the start of the season bringing balance to the defense  line as Hull City remain  unbeaten.
