AC Milan are reportedly ready to open talks with Samuel Chukwueze over a new contract, with the Nigerian winger enjoying a fresh lease of life under new head coach Ruben Amorim.

The Nigerian  Winger has featured in all three of Milan’s opening Serie A games this season, contributing two assists as he settles into an unfamiliar role at right wing-back.

According to Italian transfer expert Nicolo Schira, he stated that his impressive form is enough to convince the club to begin discussions  with him over an extension  in the coming weeks.

Samuel Chukwueze  is enjoying his stays at San Siro. His current deal runs until June 2028, and reports out of Italy suggest the plan is to push the renewal out to 2031, tying him down  for the long term.

It is worth remembering that  Chukwueze’s comeback comes after a terrible  spell since  his 2023 move from Spanish club, Villarreal which also led to his loan to Fulham FC.

Additionally,  Amorim has been praised for helping the Nigerian  winger, Chukwueze gaining back his confidence, deploying  him in the wing-back role and getting the best out of him defensively as well as going forward.

Chukwueze remains a regular fixture for the Super  Eagles. A settled run of form and a new long term deal at Milan would strengthen  his case in the Super Eagles team.
