Leeds United are reportedly considering signing Nigerian left-back Zaidu Sanusi from Porto ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

Sources indicate that the newly promoted Premier League side has opened discussions with Porto and is preparing a €2 million bid, offering Sanusi a contract that would run until 2029.

Sanusi, 27, has had limited playing time this season, making just six appearances in all competitions as he continues recovering from a knee injury suffered last year.

Earlier this summer, the player denied these reports and stated, “I am not in contact with Leeds United or any team right now. I am not negotiating with Leeds United and I have not been offered a four-year contract. They lied about it.”

Porto are under no immediate pressure to sell, as Sanusi’s contract runs until 2027.
