Onuachu has emerged as a major aerial threat in the Turkish Super Ligue, scoring more headed goals than traditional powerhouses Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, and Galatasaray.

His dominance in the air has established him as one of the league’s most dangerous forwards this season. The Nigeria international has netted nine headers, scoring against Kocaelispor, Samsunspor, Rizespor, Alanyaspor, Fenerbahçe, Fatih Karagümrük, Kayserispor, and Galatasaray.

As a team, Trabzonspor lead the league in headed goals, with 18 of their 55 total strikes coming from headers. According to 61 Saat, Başakşehir have recorded nine headed goals, while Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, and Galatasaray have each managed eight—meaning Onuachu alone has outperformed the Istanbul giants in aerial scoring.

At the other end of the spectrum, Fatih Karagümrük, Gaziantep FK, and Kocaelispor have the fewest headed goals this season, with just two each.

Meanwhile, newly capped Nigeria international Chibuike Nwaiwu ranks third among Trabzonspor players in headed goals, scoring three since his January move from Wolfsberger AC in the Austrian Bundesliga.
