Former Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa once again proved decisive for Kano Pillars after scoring the goal that secured a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Barau FC in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

Musa found the breakthrough in the 57th minute, giving Pillars the edge in what was described as a tense and closely contested encounter. The experienced forward’s strike ensured all three points for the Kano side and highlighted his continued importance to the team this season.

The win was particularly significant for Kano Pillars as they continue to push for consistency in the league. Musa’s leadership and experience have been key for the club, both on and off the pitch, especially during tight matches where moments of quality decide the outcome.

Elsewhere in the NPFL, Rangers delivered one of the most impressive performances of the round with a commanding victory that strengthened their momentum in the competition.

The results from the round added fresh twists to the NPFL standings as teams continue to battle for points in what has been another competitive season in Nigeria’s top flight.

With several matches still to play, the league race remains wide open, and performances like Musa’s continue to shape the story of the campaign.
