Victor Osimhen

Victor Osimhen has decided to continue his career at Galatasaray, ending months of speculation about a possible move to the Premier League.

After a successful loan spell last season, the Nigerian striker has agreed to a permanent transfer. Galatasaray are now negotiating the payment terms with Napoli to meet his €75 million release clause.

Despite strong interest from Manchester United and Liverpool, Osimhen has now made it clear he prefers to stay in Istanbul, where he scored 26 league goals and won both the Turkish league title and cup.

He is set to sign a long-term contract worth around €16 million per year, which will make him one of the highest-paid players in Turkish football.

🚨🟡🔴 Galatasaray will approach Napoli again for Victor Osimehn with new proposal after €60m turned down.

The agreement with Osimhen is done until June 2028 but Napoli want more than €60m and also with better payment terms.

Fabrizio Romano Reports

Formal confirmation of the deal is expected soon, once Galatasaray and Napoli finalize the structure of the payments.
