Former Super Eagles Coach Samson Siasia has raised concern and given his opinion on what the new head coach Finidi George and his team must do to get the better of the South Africa team.
Siasia emphasized on the fact that the upcoming match again the Bafana Bafana of South Africa is very important because Nigeria has only Two points from two previous games.
He also stated that the absence of Key Players like Victor Osimhen and William Troost Ekong is a big blow to the team.
While Speaking to Brila FM, he said;
“It’s Very, Very Important because we have two points from two matches. If we had won the two matches it would’ve been six points by now, but we’re just with two points”,
When Speaking on the Instability in the Nigeria National Team compared to South Africa, he said;
“A new Coach coming up and all that, let’s hope he’s able to put up a team that can defeat the South Africans, because the South Africans still have thier Coach and they still have the same players, and now Osimhen is not here and some very important players”.
He also spoke of the importance of the players digesting the new coach’s ideas in training as being crucial,
“We’ll Know more as soon as watch their training sessions, and know the exact pattern he wants to play and who is playing, it’s going to be a very difficult game because it’s very crucial, very important”.
With two points in two games at the moment the Super eagles of Nigeria will b hoping to Secure their first win of the World Cup Qualifying Rounds in Uyo on Friday 7th June 2024.
