Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman has moved to clear doubts about his fitness after recent injury concerns.
The attacker had been a worry after picking up a knock in his last outing, with early reports suggesting it could keep him out for a while. But that doesn’t look to be the case anymore.
“I feel fine,” he said.
The Super Eagles star has since returned to training and is back working with the team, a sign that the situation is not as serious as first feared.
“I’ve been training,” he added.
His return is a big boost for his side, especially at this stage of the season where every game carries weight. Lookman has been one of the key players in attack and his availability gives the team more options going forward.
“It’s good to be back,” he implied.
The focus now shifts to the next game, with the team looking to maintain momentum and finish the season strongly.
“We’re ready,” he noted.
For Lookman, it’s simple stay fit, stay sharp and keep contributing when it matters most.
“We want to go through,” he added.
