Wilfred Ndidi in Action

The Super Eagles have received a major boost ahead of Sunday’s crucial World Cup playoff final after CAF officially confirmed that Wilfred Ndidi is eligible to feature against DR Congo.

The announcement, shared on the team’s verified X page earlier today, clarifies that yellow cards accumulated during the World Cup qualifying rounds do not carry over into the playoff stage. According to CAF’s competition regulations, only existing, confirmed suspensions apply during the playoffs.
