The double 2026 World Cup Qualifying matches the Super Eagles played were disappointing as they drew 1-1 with South Africa at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo and Lost 2-1 to Benin Republic away, making it 3 draws and One loss from thier opening 4 Matches

However, the Super Eagles have now confirmed that they have returned to the country and will fight till the end for the 2026 FIFA WORLD CUP Qualification in a Post on X.
