West Ham manager Nuno Espírito Santo has praised Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi ahead of their Premier League clash, describing the Nigerian international as one of the key threats in Marco Silva’s side.

Speaking during his pre match press conference, Nuno highlighted Iwobi’s quality while discussing Fulham’s attacking strength.

“They are a very good team. Marco Silva is doing an amazing job,” the West Ham boss said. “You can see it is a tough team.”

The Portuguese coach then singled out the Super Eagles midfielder for special praise after his recent performances.

“Alex Iwobi, the goal that he scored… they have so many talented players.”

Nuno added that Fulham have multiple players capable of hurting opponents and said the Hammers must be prepared for the challenge.

“They have so many talented players,” he continued, while also praising striker Raúl Jiménez.

“I’m really pleased to see Raúl Jiménez doing so well. Me and Raúl worked together and it was a pleasure. He’s a player I have big admiration for.”

Iwobi has been one of Fulham’s most consistent performers this season, contributing goals and assists from midfield as the club continues its push for a strong Premier League finish.

The Nigerian international joined Fulham from Everton in 2023 and has since established himself as a key figure in Marco Silva’s squad.
